Getting Started with Pinterest !

Ben Silbermann is the man with the plan ! He is the main founder of Pinterest. He made Pinterest based off of an discussion board lay out just with pictures. It launched in 2010 and is used to share ideas and photography.

One common thing that Pinterest is used for is the ideas of all Americans. The website alone has 1.250 million users that share ideas with each other. Whether it be food, entertainment, or home lifestyle everyone can see what you think looks nice and they can do the same. You also can follow that person you think has good ideas and keep up with their Pinterest page. The website is good for giving credit to those with creative minds wanting to give tips and share ideas.
On my Pinterest page I follow a random select of topics that I interest in nothing really to major. One of the pages I follow and topic board discuss tips on living healthy. Which lately I have been working hard to do with that topic the focus isn't really on pics but peoples thoughts.
My personal opinion about Pinterest is its a cool website and I think serves a good purpose. Being able to share your ideas and share your personal pictures makes the site personal to each user. The crowd using Pinterest I would say are designers and cooks so the website is more aimed to an middle age to older crowd. If having to give a number range I would say about 17 and up.
Another thing good about the Pinterest website is it has no spam really and most ads to the side of the website. Giving you unlimited space and the website provides you with pins so your page wont look so try to other users. I plan on staying on Pinterest and see what it has to offer or what ideas I can take from the website.
